This shared project was vinified at Pauline’s place. It is a 50/50 split of Blauer Portugeiser from Alana and Pinot Noir from Pauline. Alana’s portugieser spent 12 days undergoing carbonic maceration to push notes of red berries firmly front and centre before being blended and aged with Pauline’s Pinot.
The result is a bright wine bristling with cherry fruits reminiscent of a Gamay but with a personality decidedly its own.
