Since 2021, he has been running a very little coffee bar called Hiphop in Copenhagen. A dedicated Sacramentan, Luke balances his busy life with his life partner and their four small children (the eldest is 9). In addition to being part of a big family, he manages Hiphop, and he also oversees another business, selling coffee worldwide under the brand Sensei. Exciting changes are underway as the lease on Hiphop's current location ends in late November. Luke is actively searching for a new spot to continue his coffee adventures, so where the future of Hiphopis going to be, is yet to unfold. This weeks Recreation Q’s are for Lucky Luke.
What do you do for Recreation: Cook & bake with the kids. Throw the frisbee for the dog 👍🏻
If you were to do something other than what you do for a living today what would that be? Investment banker or work at a børnehave (kindergarten in Danish) 😎
What was the last gift you got for yourself? The last gift I got myself was a new paperback notebook for coffee notes (I love a fresh notebook 😉)
What was the last gift somebody gave you? The last gifts I received was bead bracelets from my kids & a fresh pair of Vans from my brother 🙌🏻 
What is your biggest vice and how do you deal with it? I think my biggest vice is sugar, and I’m dealing with it poorly lol. But wife is helping me to focus my attention on better things
How do you navigate through difficult situations? I navigate difficult situations by taking a deep breath, praying, and moving forward confidently.
Name one of your favourite people in the world and why this person is one of them? One of my favorite people in the world is my wife. We’ve been together for 16 years, and I just love spending time with her ❤️
If you had to call somebody right now that you haven’t talked to in ages who would that be? I’d call an old childhood friend, to make sure they’re ok 🙏🏻
What was your proudest moment and why? My proudest moment is seeing each of my kids being born. (I got to catch one of them ;)… the great accomplishment of my life is being a father to my kids.
Which city is cooking you the best meal and where? The best meal? California- In N Out burger 🍔😎
