10Q's for OOO Agency's Stefan Petersen

For years I have run in to Stefan and always a man with a big smile. I've seen him grow in the music and event industry over the years to managing some of the most asked for bands. Today he is first...

...and foremost a father of two that he has with his beautiful Trine, and recently activated OOO (Out Of Office) Agency. An agency that focuses on meaningful collaborations – elevating fresh talent and crafting brand stories that resonate. OOO's goal is to create moments that matter, bridging culture and commerce in compelling ways.

Name: Stefan Cristopher Petersen
City: Copenhagen
Occupation: Connecting good vibes via my agency, Out of Office.

What do you do for Recreation?
When I’m by myself, YouTube. I love watching all kinds of content, but especially gaming.

If you were to do something other than what you do for a living today, what would that be?
I’d be a historian. I love history, and Copenhagen is full of it everywhere you go.

What was the last gift you got for yourself?
A vinyl – Mona Moroni’s "Vågen Igen".

What was the last gift somebody gave you?
A new front tooth! I had a chipped one for months, and it was looking a little sketchy.

What is your biggest vice, and how do you deal with it?
Chocolate – especially "P-tærter", I don’t leave anything behind. To be honest, I’m not really dealing with it, just enjoying it.

How do you navigate through difficult situations?
I try to balance my pride and stubbornness with advice from the closest people around me, while keeping a mindset focused on positivity and progress. Stagnation in tough situations is the worst for me.
Therapy is also a great way to create headspace and deal with evenings full of swarming thoughts.

Name one of your favourite people in the world and why this person is one of them?
My close friend Mathias Arvedsen, a director & cinematographer. He’s just an overall awesome and inspiring person. I strive to have the same level of ambition in my work-life balance as he does, and I’m inspired by how he builds his family and navigates fatherhood.
Curiosity is one of his main drivers, which often puts him in very interesting situations – I can’t wait for some of his upcoming work to be released.
Through and through, he’s a great and cherished friend.

What do you do to stay/get in shape?
Damn. Besides riding my white OMNIUM every day? Not enough. Right now, I’m one of those people who pay for a gym membership every month but never actually go.
The dream is to start playing football again. Short-term goal: get my ass back in the gym and cut down on the chocolate.

What was your proudest moment and why?
I cherish many of my work-related victories, big and small.
But as cheesy as it might sound, my proudest moment was when my wife, Trine, said yes to me – and later when we got married. She means the world to me and has changed me for the better.

Which city is cooking you the best meal and where?
Lately, I’ve been exploring Paris, and you eat very, very well there. A spot that really stood out to me was Jah Jah (11 Rue des Petites Écuries) – a really nice vegan soul food spot.
In Copenhagen, just go visit Graziano for your Tuscan-Italian fix.
